Target Exclusive Minifigure Cube Available

This year's Target Minifigure cube (5004077) is now available from Target. It contains Lightning Lad, Sir Fangar, Kai and a scuba diver. It costs $9.99 or is free with purchases of over $50 of Ninjago, City or Super Heroes sets.

Wall-E Revised Instructions.

LEGO has just published a revised instruction manual for troubled Ideas set 21303 Wall-E that details how it has resolved the loosely swiveling head problem.  The pieces will be sent to the people who purchased it before by calling customer service.

The difference between the two instructions is shown below.  

2015 VIP Shopping Event!

There was a rumor that there wouldn't be a VIP shopping event this year, however, the above images have been circulating the internet.  It sounds like there was a bit of a mix-up with the invitations this year and many people either did not get their invite, it was an invite to the wrong store, or there were misspellings on the names.  

Last year, I was invited and it was not as great as the previous years.  Sure, I did get a few free (small) sets, but there weren't any special discounts or sales.

The LEGO Shop@Home website has listed a number of City, Creator, Disney Princess and Technic sets and states that will be available on the 1st of December. Unfortunately most are currently without images, but they will probably be added shortly.

Sets are often released prior to Christmas in some stores although availability is patchy. However, this is the first time I can recall that the City, Creator, Disney Princess and Technic ranges will be officially released on the 1st of December, in plenty of time for Christmas. Disney Minifigure Series!

There’s some new information coming out about the upcoming LEGO Disney Minifigures (71012). Usually we get 16 different minifigures to collect with the regular Minifigure Series but in the Disney series, it looks like LEGO has changed it up a little because there will be 18 characters to collect. There is no other news at this time, but as more information becomes available I will post it.

Nexo Knights: Robin's Mini Fortrex (30372)

Last week, the first Lego Nexo Knights polybag to be revealed, Knight's Cycle (30371) .  A image of a second polybag has appeared, Robin's Mini Fortrex (30372).  No details have been released on the availability of this polybag either.

Lego Star Wars: Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy

Lego Star Wars: Chronicles of the Force

There will be new DK book coming out in Spring 2016, Lego Star Wars: Chronicles of the Force. The book retails for $16.99 and it’s pretty much a guide on the latest Lego Star Wars sets and minifigures. More importantly, there will be an exclusive minifigure that will be included in the book. The character will be revealed as we get closer to the release date of May 3, 2016. You can pre-order Chronicles of the Force on Amazon at a slightly discounted price.

Lego Star Wars 2-in-1 Battle Pack (66535) at Target

There’s a new Lego Star Wars 2-in-1 Battle Pack (66535) found at Target that features the buildable figures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous. It retails for $59.99 which is essentially the same price as if you would have purchased sets 75109 and 75112 separately. The only difference is that you also get a poster included with the box. This 2-in-1 Battle Pack is similar to the Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader (66536) one that is exclusively available through Toys R Us.

Lego Star Wars 2016 Sets

A total of 10 Lego Star Wars sets will be released as part of the January 2016 wave. Set names for five of the sets were revealed earlier at Toys R Us Canada, but was taken down shortly afterwards. Eight of the Lego Star Wars sets have been revealed with images. Minifigures for these sets are also shown.

Lego DC Super Heroes: Heroes of Justice Sky High Battle (76046) Revealed

An image of the 76046 LEGO DC Super Heroes: Heroes of Justice Sky High Battle has surfaced online. This set will be based on the upcoming Batman v Super Man Movie that is set to be released in March 2016. All of the main characters including Batman, Lex Luther, Wonder Woman, Superman and Lois Lane minifigures will be included.
