Lego Star Wars Review: Millennium Falcon (7190)

7190: Millennium Falcon
Year: 2000
Minifigures: C-3PO, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, & R2D2
Piece count: 663

Build: The build itself was pretty simplistic and much smaller than the newer ones (e.g. 7965), with a little over half the amount of pieces as the previously mentioned set.  I actually built the newer ones before I was able to purchase this one so when I had it together it seemed so odd and boxy.

Playability:  Like all Millennium Falcon sets, this one is pretty sweet and the fact that the top pieces can come off the reveal the inside, makes it even better.  Because of the simple support legs, it is a little less functional.  The addition of the 6 minifigures is also very nice and creating your own story line for the Millennium Falcon.

Value:  The original price, excellent; now you'd be hard to find it less than $100.

Recommendation:  Collectors only, if you are not a collector but still want a Millennium Falcon, one of the newer ones (e.g. 7965) would be a better bet.  Another option, is the midi-scale Millennium Falcon (7778).
