Build: Easy build, no real issues. I picked up mine used and there was some light coloration in the bricks, but I assume that is because someone displayed it in a window.
Playability: Not a whole lot of play functions, although the addition of the Rebel Engineer is nice. This set would be great with other fighter sets. Like many of the older Lego Star Wars sets, this one is the only A-wing fighter with gray bricks versus white.
Value: Great original value.
Recommendation: Collectors only, there are newer A-wing fighters (e.g. 75003) for non-collectors.
